Travel Poster

This travel poster is a combination of photo composition and personalized illustration. With the change in texture and detail I attempted to create an illusion of depth of field. I wanted to express the idea of “as things go away from us, they lose detail.”

Rule 9

Sister Corita Kent's 10 Rules for Students and Teachers provides a strong foundation for success. I'm particularly drawn to rule number nine, and I strive to find happiness even in the most challenging situations. Maintaining a healthy work/life balance and prioritizing self-care are extremely important to me.

DO YOU LOVE YOURSELF?

This poster is a PSA to students who may fall into self-loathing. It is meant to draw you in with this big heart that spells love, and then reels you into reality with “Do you love yourself?” This project resonates on a deeper level than most of my projects. The subtle chaos in the background truly personifies the feeling of self-hate.

HISTORY LOVERS

On April 8th, 2024, I saw and shot pictures of the Solar Eclipse. One of my friends at the time said, “We are the History Livers!” and that inspired me to make a poster to immortalize the moment. With the exact coordinates and date, the photo was taken, I can relive that moment forever.
